Subscription and Recurring Billing Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

This Policy explains how recurring billing operates on the OnCheckout platform and how you may cancel a subscription. It supplements our Refund and Return Policy and Terms of Sale.

OnCheckout (operated by BASEON LTDA) is the Merchant of Record for all recurring charges processed through the platform. Cancellation requests are handled by OnCheckout directly, regardless of which Vendor supplied the underlying subscription product.

2. How Recurring Billing Works

When you subscribe to a product offered through OnCheckout, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the cadence disclosed on the checkout page (for example, monthly, quarterly, or annually). Charges continue automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel the subscription or the Vendor terminates the program.

The amount, currency, and renewal cadence are presented prior to checkout. You may review your active subscriptions at any time through the customer portal.

3. Renewal Reminders

OnCheckout sends a renewal reminder email to the address associated with your account seven (7) calendar days before each scheduled renewal. The reminder discloses the renewal amount, the next billing date, and a direct link to manage or cancel the subscription. Please ensure your email address remains current to receive these notices.

4. How to Cancel

You may cancel a subscription at any time through any of the following channels:

  • Customer portal:Sign in via the magic link delivered to your registered email address and select "Cancel Subscription."
  • Ticket form: Submit a cancellation request at /legal/support.
  • Email: Write to support@oncheckout.com.br from the address associated with the subscription, including the product name and order reference.

Cancellation requests submitted by email or ticket are processed within one (1) business day of receipt.

5. When Cancellation Takes Effect

Cancellation halts all future renewal charges. You retain access to the subscribed product or service until the end of the current paid billing period. No proration is applied for the unused portion of that period.

For example, if you subscribe on the first of the month for a monthly product and cancel on the fifteenth, you will retain access until the end of that month and will not be charged thereafter.

6. Refunds for Recurring Charges

Cancellation by itself does not generate a refund. If you believe a recurring charge qualifies for refund under our Refund and Return Policy, please submit a separate refund request via the ticket form or by emailing support@oncheckout.com.br.

OnCheckout does not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period that you have already paid for, except where required by applicable law.

7. Failed Payments

If a scheduled renewal payment fails, OnCheckout may retry the charge for up to seven (7) days. If all retries fail, the subscription will be paused or terminated and access to the underlying product may be suspended. You will receive notice prior to termination.

8. Plan Changes

Upgrades or downgrades requested through the customer portal take effect at the start of the next billing period unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing applies only for the period explicitly disclosed at checkout; standard rates apply at the next renewal thereafter.

9. Recognizing the Charge

Recurring charges appear on bank and card statements as:

If you do not recognize a recurring charge, consult our Statement Descriptor Reference and contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most disputes can be resolved within one to two business days.
